She is beautiful. Her personality is bubbly, friendly, and fun! She is also in love with her best friend. When I was asked if I would photograph her I cannot admit I was not just a little bit excited!

Sessions like these are just pure magic, everything flowed beautifully, Rachel is one of the rare people who know how to pose naturally for the camera, with little to no direction from her photographer.

After our session was completed, I could  could easily see how she won her title as Miss New Brunswick 2013! Good luck Rachel to what ever you plan to do!

Michelle and Denver were only recently engaged and had yet to do any wedding planning except for booking their engagement session with me! Within only days of inquiring we booked their session, pushed the time a little ahead due to some clouds that threatened to rain on us.

We didn’t have very much time beforehand to get to know each other but during the session we all got well acquainted. Of course I had to ask, how did he propose? This is always a question I ask all engaged couples, Michelle and Denver  were no exception. Michelle instantly smile and her eyes light up when she described how it was romantic because he wrote the  big question in the sand. I couldn’t help but grin back at them as I watched Denver’s own smile as he gazed at his fiancée. Michelle explained that they have been together for 7 years…I would venture to say that this would make it her lucky year!

Michelle and Denver must have thought I was a little crazy during the session…we played a couple for silly games, I had them dance, and a few others little weird things. The point of the foolishness? The laughter, the fun and capturing those looks passed between each other. Michelle is beautiful and when she smiled, Denver instantly smiled.  I cannot choose my favourites because there were so many great images!

I am so happy you love your pictures Michelle! I hope the rest of your wedding plans go smoothly for you both:)

I honestly do not remember when I met Amanda…maybe a decade ago? Even though my family moved away from Saint John, we have kept in touch through Facebook. This month, they travelled that lovely new highway down to St George for their family pictures (just a little over 30 minutes from the West side of Saint John to St George now!).

Seeing how big her kids have grown made me a wee bit choked up…was Sydney not just a little brown eyed mopet of a toddler last week?

Even though it was November we were blessed with a wonderful warm day, gorgeous sunshine and everyone was in a light and happy mood! Could not have been more perfect!
