We celebrated New Year’s Eve in our studio by welcoming the last baby boy of the year!

This session was inspired by his nursery which was decorated by Saint John’s premier designer Judith Mackin, from Punch Inside Interior Design. When Jen and David first booked with me and explained what they were looking for as far styling of the newborn session, I was excited because I also follow Judith’s blog and her amazing Before and After Makeovers. I was familiar with their blog post and decor! This made deciding what props to use very easy because they knew exactly what they wanted.

To keep with their colour theme we stayed with a palette of black, white and grey. The style was kept clean, simple and very modern. Their little man was a perfect gentleman and we were able to complete his session in record time.

Thank you again for bringing him to our studio! It was a pleasure to meet your new family!

We began 2016 with this adorable new baby girl in the studio! She is a beautiful baby and we were quite excited to work with her (after so many boys in 2015 every girl is a treat!). She was also very curious to what was going on around her! She wasn’t very interested in sleeping and gave some great eye contact.

She made us work hard for every pose and it was completely worth it!

We began 2016 with this adorable new baby girl in the studio! She is a beautiful baby and we were quite excited to work with her (after so many boys in 2015 every girl is a treat!). This brand new baby boy came in with his big sisters and they were such great helps! They both wanted to be involved in some possible way with his session. Both had the opportunity to be in the session and they also were so helpful by picking out colours and wraps. it is so much fun to have these little personal touches included.

A few images would not have been possibly without them helping! Some of the images look like babies are up in the air but we use a little photoshop magic, a helping hand and shooting with baby safely on the beanbag.

I enjoyed this session so much! This is a lovely family and his momma and I have known each other for a few years. When she inquired and let me know she had a brand new baby boy I couldn’t wait for them to arrive in the studio.

You had me captivated the moment you entered the studio with your serious little expressions and soulful eyes. You were so sweet and adorable and I have so much fun working with you while slept or seriously observed what was going on around you! That moment when you looked at your Dad and made him laugh I could see you had the same chin as your Dad, even as small as you are!

You have amazing parents and they kept looking at your perfection with awe and happiness. Your sessions was worth all of the effort as you gave us so many different expressions and showed us a glimpse of your personality and what is yet to come.

Perfect little Shaylee was born to be in front of the camera. I had the chance to meet her Mommy during the winter for her maternity session and couldn’t wait for her arrival!

We had girly touches of pink throughout her session with the beautiful warm neutrals. Shaylee curled nicely into her poses and slept so good wrapped in the soft knit wraps.They first thing you notice is her beautiful hair! She had the most amazing hair with a touch of curl rippling all over her head and she was so beautiful!
